STORM GU13 are the Elite Cup Champions with a complete Shut Out weekend.

The GU13 had an incredible tournament this past weekend.  The girls went undefeated and held to a complete shut out tournament weekend.

Game 1 vs. MYSL/Menifee Extreme: 4-0
Game 2 vs. FC Murrieta G96 White: 4-0
Game 3 vs. Elsinore Extreme FC G96: 5-0

The semi-final game was against a skilled Temecula United team.  At half the score was 0-0.  In the 2nd half an early goal gave the girls enough to hold off their pressure and win the game.  Final: 1-0

The championship game was paired against a strong Menifee Sol team.  At the half the game was scoreless.  STORM brought the first goal by Marissa (Speedy) as a shot was fumbled by the keeper and STORM rebounded to score.  The second goal was a penalty kick from the 18, scored by Rachel (The Wall).  Shortly after, STORM found the back of the net on another great goal from a beautiful cross; goal scored by Marissa (Speedy).  Final: 3-0

This is the fourth tournament for the girls this season; Irvine Memorial Classic (Finalist), Arsenal Cup, Crusaders Cup (Bracket Winner/Semi-finals), and Elite Cup Tournament Champions.
